The Institute of Property Development is pleased to announce our next seminar will be entitled “Low Rise Medium Density Housing”.
This Code will allow developers to obtain approvals for smaller developments such as town houses, terraces and manor houses with only a complying development approval, rather than a development application.
The benefits of the new Code include:
-increasing the supply of housing in NSW and housing affordability;
-quicker and cheaper development approval process;
-helps to maintain the local character of neighbourhoods; and
-ensures a consistent approach to the good design of low rise medium density housing across NSW.
The speaker for the event will be Michael Lucchitti from the NSW Planning Department (Team Leader Policy and Communications – Codes and Approval Pathways) – Michael is one of the key members of the NSW Planning Department who is helping to implement the Code.
This seminar will give you a great understanding of the new Code and how it can be applied to assist property development in NSW.
